NLRB announces employer's rescission of social media policy. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) announced in April that Valero Services, Inc., has agreed to rescind its nationwide social media policy and post and mail an NLRB remedial notice to its employees throughout the country in response to a complaint filed by the Board. Valero Services provides employee leasing services to refineries and plants. The United Steelworkers of America filed an unfair labor practice charge with NLRB Region 16 alleging that the company's social media policy interfered with employees' rights to discuss their terms and conditions of employment on social media.
