Race, national origin claims survive 'liar, liar, pants on fire' argument

A federal court in Baton Rouge recently allowed an employee's race and national origin harassment and hostile work environment claims to proceed to trial over the employer's objection that the employee was dishonest and unreliable. The court declined to address credibility issues and disputed incidents of alleged harassment in the context of a motion to dismiss, concluding that the parties must proceed to trial so a trier of fact can resolve the issues and questions.
